Photo Shop file information( for this Sunday)

This is for  next class.  Don't worry about it yet.

1.create new file
---file/new/------
resolution :300 dpi --for print
file size :
8.5x 11 inch ( A4 size) --portait
11x 8.5 ---- landscape

RGB color
 8bit



2. Open your sketch image

/ select/ select all/
edit/copy/paste in to your new image
 Tool/Move Tool
Edit /transform/scale



3. Widnow/ layers

rename your layer 1 to sketch
Change Normal to Multiply in Layers
create new layer  for color ( rename layer to color)
Change Normal to Multiply in Layers

save as PSD file


4. created new layer
rename layer to boxes
Tool/Rectangular Marquee tool
Edit/fill/foregroud color( white)
Layres/ double click  boxes layer/
Stroke /structure/size

5. Tool/ brush
Window/Color




extra
  Choose Edit > Transform > Scale, Rotate

easel pose photo references

Can you give more space between the easel and Lilia and pull her arms out little more from her body?  You can use " post it"  to fix ( or piece of paper and tape).
Or we can fix it in photoshop. ( Hold until Sunday)

Thumbnail Sketch

The art style changed a lot when I was doing this... I have a bad habit of changing art styles a lot and this looks nothing like the draft. Also should I add another page with the whole studio?

Basic PhotoShop Tool

 If you have photoshop ready, you may want to take a look at basics of Tool Tutorial. Ask me questions if anything is not clear.


You don't have to learn every tool for now ( it is overwhelming). Get familar with Brush and Eraser and Text  in Tool Window.


 This is not mandatory, please focus on your rough tumbnail first. Once your rough tumbnail is done, please post it. I will give you feed back and take whatever you like from my critic. Then, you are going to make clean sketches. thanks.

Please finish your thumbnail drawing , and post on the blog.

Please make clean sketch from your thumbnail drawing and post on the blog . You may want to use  vellum  tracing paper . Or draw again fresh ( if you draw again, you will be better.)


Chankyo, think about getting Wacom Tablet and Photoshop if you want to learn computer graphic. Please discuss with  your parents.
If you think it is unnecessary, you can always paint with your best friends. ( pencil or watercolor or marker.)

 Post your Inner Critic character on the blog because I love them so much.

There was one problem: I kind of wanted to include a background (setting) with her full body to the left but I don't know how to include the easel that way because it would hen cover the entire panels beneath.

Shading

I think I'm getting better at shading spheres! This is an assignment I had from art. I'm still working on the cube though.
